Davidson Community Players presents Baby the Musical.

Is there anything more exciting and frightening than impending parenthood? Baby tells the story of three couples on a college campus as they deal with the painful, rewarding and agonizingly funny consequences of this universal experience. There are the college students, barely at the beginning of their adult lives; the thirty-somethings, having trouble conceiving but determined to try; and the middle-aged parents, looking forward to seeing their last child graduated from college when a night of unexpected passion lands them back where they started. You’ll enjoy sharing the desperate lows and comical highs of this smart, witty musical.

Davidson Community Players presents Farndale Avenue . . . A Christmas Carol.

In a festive mood, the crazy ladies of Farndale mount an assault on the classics with their original stage version of A Christmas Carol. They enthusiastically portray a dizzying array of characters from the Charles Dickens classic (and a few which aren’t). They engineer some novel audience participation while bravely contending with an intrusive public announcement system. The charming and hilarious show makes for a fun-filled evening of holiday cheer – and live theatre at its best!

The Brothers Grim “go Broadway” in Stephen Sondheim’s cockeyed fairytale where all of your favorite characters – Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (and his beanstalk) and The Witch – meet and interact on their journeys.
